Our Fleet Division maintains all Public Works, Water, Sewer, Parks & Properties, Inspector vehicles and the Senior Buses. Over 100 pieces of equipment! This includes all our pumps, compressors, lawn mowers, weed-wackers, edgers and chain saws used all over the town.

Our mechanics handle all our State Inspections, minor and major repairs as well as any welding and fabricating.

During the winter of 2004/2005 our plow trucks averaged 2,000 - 2,300 miles per vehicle. Fuel usage for January and February was 10,100 gallons of diesel. During a storm, all of the mechanics plow except for our Chief Mechanic who remains in the shop to handle all emergencies/breakdowns during the storm event.
