DID YOU KNOW.......?

In the event of inclement weather, you can call the Recreation Department after 3:00pm during the week and before 9:00am on the weekends to hear a recorded message regarding playing fields status. Cancellation number is (603) 890-2140 extension 2. Youth Baseball and Youth Soccer Leagues are enrolled in the Salem Recreation Departments Designee Program. For cancellation of practices and games for baseball and soccer please contact the leagues directly.

Due to space limitations, certain Recreation Departments programs are only open to Salem residents. For more information, please call the Recreation Department at (603) 890-2140.

Low enrollment: most programs have a minimum number of participants needed in order for the program to run. If the minimum number of participants is not met, the class maybe cancelled within a week of when the program begins.

NON-RESIDENTS: Salem residents means Salem residence (not business) immediate family only. Non-residents must pay an additional non-resident fee of $5.00 per person. Programs are open to Salem residents first; nonresidents can register for programs if space is available.
